"ZEALOUS" Zeta Mu Nu Chapter

On December 29, 2009, Brother Johnny Walker, sent out a message on the Goldboot and Atlanta Ques list-serves requesting a meeting for the purpose of starting a chapter that would service the Henry and Clayton County communities. A meeting would ensure on Saturday January 24, 2010, at the home of Brother Johnny Walker with a symbolic number of 8 additional Brothers present. Throughout the years a list of brothers accumulated and on Saturday March 10, 2012, a mass e-mail, Facebook (with the name of Clayton/Henry County Ques chosen), Goldboot, and Atlanta Ques list-serve message went out that outlined a plan to charter. Brother Johnny Walker was selected as president of the group and a name was chosen as the Crescent County Ques. A year later, Saturday May 25, 2013, another mass email and message was sent out with the number of brothers increasing with each mass email and message. At the July 26, 2014 meeting Brother Clayton Harris was appointed the chair of the chartering committee with a target date of November 17, 2014. In addition, an election for permanent officers (once chartered) ensured with most officers being selected without opposition. On Saturday September 20, 2014, at Stockbridge High school, with 25 Omega Men and the assistance of Brother Michael Randall, the forms for chartering were signed and Brother Anthony Dixon hand delivered the Chartering request to IHQ. On September 26, 2014, a Charter was approved for Zeta Mu Nu. Brother Clayton Harris would prevail as the 1st Basileus and during the 51st Ga State Meeting on October 4, 2014, it was announced that a charter was granted by the Supreme Council for the Zeta Mu Nu Chapter that services the Henry and Clayton County area and the first officers were installed.
